I can hear you… Let me first give an overview of Bedouin

The Bedouin, (“Bedu” in Arabic, meaning “desert dwellers”) are nomadic people who live in the desert.

Bedouins are Arabs and desert nomads who come from and primarily lived in the Arabian peninsula and the Middle East and North Africa.

It has traditionally been used to differentiate between nomads who made a living by raising livestock (the Bedouins) and those who worked on farms or lived in towns.

Livestock and shepherds, principally of goats, sheep, and dromedary camels, comprised the traditional livelihoods of Bedouins. These were used for meat, dairy products, and wool.

But their life is not easy. Wilfred Thesiger described the Bedouin’s life as “hard and merciless...always hungry and usually thirsty.”

The Bedouin live in woolen tents, called Black tents. Herding goats and camels are a part of the traditional Bedouin culture

Watching the sunset across these sands had been wonderful, the dusty sun turning the large mountains of sand dunes pinks and reds.

The children had clambered up the sand dunes, explored around by themselves across the top, and slid down them like huge slides for fun with their 4×4 cars.
