The Qasr Al Watan is a wonderful palace, new and unique landmark in the United Arab Emirates. The visitors’ experience of this palace is an inspiring and educational tour of Emirati and Arabian excellence. Qasr Al Watan is more than just a palace, it is an enriching interactive journey in a contemporary setting that reveals and reflects on the way of rule, knowledge and fine detail of craftsmanship. 

The Great Hall

In Great Hall, visitors can deeply explore design elements through art installations. The hall’s architectural details are mirrored cubes. Particularly the pattern diversity and labyrinthine craftsmanship infused in each and every single design.

Al Barza:

In Al Barza, the Majlis is the largest room in the Palace after The Great Hall. The Majlis means council or assembly is used to formally welcome guests. Visitors can learn and enjoy the 5-minute multimedia show on the history of the Majlis and the UAE.

Spirit of Collaboration:

This Spirit of Collaboration is used for the official meeting hall of the Federal Supreme Council, summits of organisations such as the Arab League, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Setting, this hall has a 12 tonne chandelier are made of  350, 000 pieces of crystal looks very grand.

The Presidential Banquet: 

Visitors can enjoy the Presidential Banquet’s in-depth introduction to the customs, protocols, cuisine and also the different collections of silver, crystal. Banquets in this hall are reserved for official occasions. The opulence with 149,000 pieces of silver, crystal and china used for official dinners that make this experience truly wonderful.

Presidential Gifts:

The Presidential Gifts is a large hall. This hall is dedicated to the ‘Presidential Gifts’ and houses the diplomatic gifts received from dignitaries during state visits.This exhibition showcases the part of the collection of gifts.

Qasr Al Watan Library

House Of Knowledge:

A ‘House of Knowledge’ hosts manuscripts on ancient history of Emirates. Visitors will also gain an understanding of the origins. library with 50,000 books and digital collections occupying another section of the palace.

Meeting Room

International meetings are organised at this room in the Palace. The decor is frequently changing depending on the guests being the event organized.

Palace in Motion Light And Sound Show:

The Palace design detail on the walls, ceiling and patterns of floor inside the palace are a fifteen-minute light and sound show in the palace grounds leaves them further amazing things. The extremely interesting laser show brings the Arab history and concept behind the ‘Palace Of Nation’ alive on the front of the palace.

Days of the shows Conducting: Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Show Timings: 7:30 pm (depends on sunset).

History Made During the Year of Tolerance:

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, declared 2019 as the Year of Tolerance. The main goal of this theme is to highlight the UAE as a bridge of communications between cultures and expands opportunities for dialogue, and showing the impact of tolerance on society.

A Celebration of Acceptance – Tolerance:

The spirit of the Tolerance in Abu Dhabi hosted the Special Olympics World Games in 2019, the first time the World Games were celebrated in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) country.

Dining and Shopping near to the Palace:

Near the exit of the Palace’s cafe “Legma” serves snacks and beverages.

At the palace visitor center, souvenirs of remembrance of this Palace and mementos can be bought from the shopping center.

A Memory from the Palace:

Visitors can enjoy the special photo opportunity in the Palace’s allocated Media Room. There is simply a visit to one of the world’s most unique cultural landmarks. Visitors can pick up photos at the gift shop.
